About Edward Crowther

Edward Crowther is a rock guitarist and songwriter from Charlotte, North Carolina. His music pulls from a unique palette of sounds including Portugal. The Man, Guns N’ Roses, Oasis, The All-American Rejects, Jim Croce, Green Day, Boston, The Smashing Pumpkins, Alice In Chains, and turns it into something that doesn’t sit neatly in one box. From him himself: “If I had to encompass everything I do as an artist, I’d say my genre is hard romantic and nostalgic dream-scape rock ’n’ roll. My sound just pulls on so many different elements and when combined all together, I think that’s how I would describe it.”

Through both sound and lyricism, Crowther pushes the rock genre into new territory, building on its history without repeating it.

He’s done it on his own terms, scoring independent success with singles like California Cruisin’ and High School Fever on his own label, Burban Records. His band, Edward Crowther & Band, takes his material live across the Southeast, delivering loud, tight sets that stay with people long after the lights go down.

Touring History

Since launching his music career in 2016, Edward has played dozens of shows across the Southeast, gracing notable venues such as Petra’s Bar, the Pour House Music Hall, Jack’s Live, the Black Flower, Deep South the Bar, Imurj, Gin Mill, and many more. Alongside his band, Edward offers a dynamic setlist, featuring up to an hour of material that mainly focuses on his original catalog—highlighted by tracks like ‘California Cruisin’’ and ‘High School Fever’—but blends uniquely reinvented cover songs from Velvet Revolver, the Bee Gees, the Verve, Lustra, Guns N’ Roses, and many others.
